What is Body Health and Wellness?

When asked if you are well, you may think of your physical condition first. Do you have a cold? A rash? Are you sleep-deprived? But with equal measure, your response may be about your mental or emotional state: “I feel anxious about work,” “I’m an emotional wreck,” or “I’m so busy I can’t even think straight.” The mind-body connection is a powerful thing. Get too little sleep and you may become irritable. At the same time, when you’re stressed out, you may end up with a headache. At EveryBody in Mind, our holistic approach to body health takes into consideration all aspects of your wellbeing. Humans are like a three-legged stool. If one leg is broken, the entire stool is compromised, starts to wobble, and may eventually fall apart. We don’t want that for you! An integrated approach to body health and wellness—from sleep and nutrition, to meditation and mindfulness—can be the glue that strengthens your ability to be more productive, peaceful, and clear—even under the stress of daily life.
