Since the new moon signifies beginnings, you must create a clear, specific, and concise intention. This is the best time to say yes to new opportunities and people.

What do you really want? Maybe you need to be a little more specific than “I want to be healthy” or “I want to be rich.”

You may start by cleaning out your space then writing out your goals and intentions. Keep your list close and revisit them often until the full moon which happens in about two weeks. 

 

Visualize and meditate regularly on the life you want

A lot of experts say “What you focus on grows.” So, if you focus on the daily worries and problems you have, you’re feeding them and draining yourself of energy. 

Now, if you want significant change, it starts with putting time and energy into the future life that you want to have. Physiologically speaking, research shows intention has a powerful effect on you, especially when it comes to healing.

Meditate and envision what that life looks like and how grateful you are because you’re moving toward this bright future.

Join a New Moon Circle

You might also want to participate in a new moon circle, connect with other women and harness the moon’s powerful energy. In this practice, the facilitator usually starts with a guided meditation. There’s also some time for self-reflection, goal-setting, visualization, and sharing among the participants.

 

Get grounded

Changes and transitions can be turbulent so grounding yourself is very important. You can try several grounding techniques, such as walking barefoot in your garden, doing deep breathing exercises, and using crystals

Speaking of crystals, the new moon is the perfect time to charge them. Charge your crystals to clear any negative energy they have stored. Some ways you can do this are soaking them in moon water, immersing them in a sound bath, connecting them with spirit guides, and breathing onto them.

Dust off the old to welcome the new. This goes not just for old toxic habits but removing the blocks that hinder the good flow of positive energy.
