And as all energy does, it moves. Within chakras, your energy moves in a circular pattern – in other words, it spins like a wheel. If one of your chakras isn’t spinning at the optimal frequency it is considered blocked and will negatively affect your emotional and physical well-being. For instance, when your root chakra is low in energy, it can manifest as insecurity. On the other hand, if it’s hyperactive, you might be prone to reckless actions.

How to Align Your Chakras
Give yourself a moment to tune into the energy within you right now. You can do this by sitting quietly, taking deep breaths, and turning your focus inwards. Do you feel like you’re brimming with energy, or do you feel like something’s off? If something is off, then you can learn to fix that.

Combining words and beliefs can be powerful. This is what positive affirmations do. According to research, positive affirmations can help us solve problems and increase our self-worth. It can also be a useful tool to align your chakras.
For example, you can say, “My chakras are balanced and in harmony with one another.” Another affirmation can be “I am in a state of balance, harmony, and flow.”
Remember though, that the key here is believing what you say. That’ll send out positive vibrations into the universe and help balance your chakras. When you know how to align your chakras, you can help yourself heal.
You can also unblock chakras through yoga poses or asanas. These poses can be as simple as standing with both hands together as in mountain pose or a little more complicated like the balanced butterfly pose.
Since each chakra is connected to a specific color, color therapy can help you harmonize them.
There are several ways you can do this. First, you can visualize the color associated with the blocked chakra while meditating.
Also, you can add the chakra’s color to your environment. So, if your heart chakra is blocked, surrounding yourself with green plants is a good idea. You can even help heal your chakras with colored lighting.
